This is a really cool book.  If you are Jewish you might really like it. If you are not jewish it makes sense but don't be confused or angered if I may not be so nice in the presentation of the gentile equivalent in the forest.  That said, I love all of my non Jewish friends so its really just written to be a literature endeavor.

It is a short 56 page book that describes a kingdom of trees and plants which a "tree g-d" makes possible.  It is as if a Creator existed that wanted to make a kingdom of trees rather than our real kingdom of human beings.  So give it a read.  A lot of my personal religious philosophy which really is I feel true Orthodox Torah Judaism explained in a different and maybe simpler format.  There is alot of allusions to the human world and if you like trees, this book is for you.

This is it.  What I think will be my first hit.  Its 130 pages of stories of a children's nature though this is clearly not a book only for kids. I think that a child might want to be about 12 before he or she reads this one.

It is basically based on real people I have known and the lessons or impressions I have seen from my experiences with those people.  I expect about 6 books in this series I think.  So far today in early April, I have three to be published and there is a 4th that I am beginning to write.  So read it all and enjoy.  All of the names and stories have essentially been changed to protect the innocent.  If they are not that innocent you may indeed figure out who these people are.   They are people in my personal life as well as public figures whom I may lampoon or enliven.  Thanks.

My poetry book!   It is 112 pages long and I hope it is a good read for anyone intersted.  All of the poems were posted in December and January to http://www.sirwaltersbackgammontable.blogspot.com/. I did not include every poem so if you like these and want to see more, visit this site especially during those 2 months.

That said, I hope its a fun read.  It will not be obvious what each poem is trying to describe or mean. But they are simple poems and none is longer than about a small page that is 5.06 by 7.8 in size.



The Amazing Adventures of Freedom

This may still be a work in progress.  This is 38 pages long and it is essentially free writing and a good spoonful of wit and witticism.  Don't worry, its not pink liberal permissive gobbelty gook. Its actually quite a mood elevating spiritual experience that I hope someone someday will give a read.

Note however: I have not yet decided if I am completely done with this books content and call this current print the unabridged version.  I may in fact give it a rewriting and add a number of new chapters.  That might not be for many years though so dont hesitate to get this fun book.  It might be fun to read on the airplane or wherever you want to get a laugh and read what might seem to be gobblety-gook but really is skilled poetic prose.  Thanks.

Sayings Against Heresy

This is the second book with Heresy as a topic.  It is 122 pages long and carries much the same theme as Heresy and Good Fortune.  The contents of this book actually however represent a good deal of twittering that I did from say March 2000 to maybe as late as October 2000.  It was alot of fun. I say Baruch Hashem as well as Chas V'Shalom alot.  I wrote it to have fun and make my twitterings public and easily accessible.  I have also deleted some content from the original twitters that just did not seem too kosher.  It woudl have been well over 200 pages if that was the case.  I did not delete all of those original twitterings so if you want to see its real inception, check me out on twitter under the name @Jewishphysician.  Its mostly there though I still deleted a few that really were not to my liking. 

Heresy and Good Fortune

This is my first book.  It started at 37 pages but I shortened it and it is 24 pages of written humor and quasi-religious banter and wisdom.  That said if you are one of the lucky 2-3 people with an original copy that you did order on amazon.com, keep it.   It might be a rich investment.  I do not even know if i still have the entire original file of the first 37 pages as I think I revised it and deleted some content that really was not too Kosher by my own thoughts.   So give it a good read.  Its funny and I say Baruch Hashem alot. 

New blog: Brenner's Books

Hi readers,
I just decided to start a new blog here.
I have just sent my 8th book to the presses and I hope that perhaps a 9th will be ready in a short while. I had no idea that I might someday write a book, but in the last six months or less, I have now to report that I will soon have 8.  So rather than blogging each individually, I thought I'd make a full blog to all of them.  Who knows, I'm a relatively young fellow and maybe I'll make a career or a good effort in doing more.  Thanks.
